At iOTEK, we believe the best way to show the power of technology is to let people experience it. During MIDA Conference & Food Show 2026, we turned our booth into a fully working Smart Store — we built a supermarket aisle to recreate a real environment where every solution worked together through live demonstrations.
Our goal was to show how we help supermarkets, food distributors, and manufacturing companies modernize their operations through an ecosystem of connected technologies that improves efficiency, streamlines processes, and delivers real-time information.
Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL): Smart Pricing for a Smart Store
The aisle was the center of our experience. There, visitors could see Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL) working in a real supermarket setting, showing how they automate price and promotion updates in real time.
The demos highlighted how this solution helps:

Telematics: Total Visibility for Critical Operations
We also showcased our Telematics solutions, built to deliver real-time control and visibility over assets.

- IoT sensors for Cold Chain Monitoring, ensuring temperature control during food transport and storage.
- Dash cams for greater safety and on-the-road evidence.

My Cloud Menu: A Fully Connected Self-Service Experience
Visitors also got to interact with our My Cloud Menu self-service station, where we showcased digital menus, self-service ordering, and dynamic promotions.
The entire demo ran over our iOTEK communications router and our multi-carrier SIM card, providing robust, resilient connectivity for critical operations — even in environments where service continuity is essential.
Bringing connectivity, software, and hardware together let us show a fully working, real-time experience.
